  1. i use nero to make my dvds, i was wondering if u have vob files smaller then 700MB, can u use a CDR/RW to make that dvd? lik when u have everthing setup on nero, i click write cd, it tell me i must use a dvd-r/w to write these files...is there anyway to avoid this? can i use cd-r/w to make my cd?

  2. Yes you can put DVD content on a CDR - it's called a mini-DVD or cDVD. The compatability of these discs with standalone DVD players is very low though so it it not heavily used. Plus you can't get much over 15 mins of decent quality on that CDR.

    If you want to play the disc on your computer with a software DVD player it should work fine reading the disc in a CDROM, CDRW, or DVDROM drive - most of the main programs recognize such a disc.
