Ive just tried opening a video file (avi) in VitualDub, and its come up with a message saying 'VirtualDub requires a Video for Windows (VfW) compatible codec to decompress video. DirectShow codecs, such a those used by Windows Media Player, are not suitable'.
What does this mean, and how do i fix it so i can open the file? Ive open other avi files in VD, but this is the only one that doesnt work. ive got all the latest codecs like nimo.
