    There are many new video enhancement added by dvd player makers.
    Faroudja chip is one of them.

    Care to tell us are this chip any ood ?

    there is also a new chip from them out now but im not sure in which models it is in ...

    Faroudja is very famous for their video proccessing at the highest end ..

    thier line doublers and quadrupilers and scalers are legends (and freaking expensive) .

    they also hold the patent on much of the technology in Hi8 video (its printed on every hi8 camera)
