I have couple movie files which are more than 700 MB.
Is there any good software will help me to cut the movie into two pieces and still remain the .AVI file format? So, I can go ahead and burn to the CD.
I tried a very simple software call File Cutter. Howver after cutting the file, it stored the files with extension as 000 and 001 instead of original AVI format...
Any suggestions???![]()
Please help me out here
Thank you

If it's an AVI, you can use VirtualDub to cut it - see the howtos under EDIT.
But remember - If you're going to do a VCD, the size of the original AVI doesn't matter a bit. It's the length (in time) of the movie that determines if it will fit on a CD as VCD.

If you take a look to the left, you'll see a section with the heading OTHER. About 2/3 down this section, there's a heading Tools. Contrary to common belief, this doesn't list various hardware stores, but comments and links to software related to the manipulation of digitalized moving images.Where can I find this software?
