  1. ok guys im new to capturing and want to connect my VCR to my pc via my wintv go card with a compsite in. On the back of my VCR it has 2 scart connections - line-2 IN and Line 1 TV

    i already have the cables red, white for audio and yellow for video. But i have this scart connector http://www.smapump.freeserve.co.uk/s-video%20to%20scart.gif

    do i need http://www.smapump.freeserve.co.uk/scartadapter2.jpg

    PS - i can get audio but i cant get video. All my settings are correct - they are on compsite and PAL-I.

  5. I've recently Bought some adapters and cables to connect my vcr so this is what i use!

    going from my tv to my computer i have a

    scart atapter with in out switch with 3 phono (2auido, 1 video) and s video
    connected to the scart atapter is 1 audio phono cable and
    1 video phono cable connected to cvbs input
    cvbs to phono

    if you wish to capture video you will need a input atapter more information would also be helpfull
