I have extracted an anamorphic 16:9 programme (from a Tivo).
It ends up as two files - video and audio MPEG2.
Using the MEPG tools option in TMPEnc I have re-muxed the two together to get a standard MPEG2 file.
However the properties show it as a 4:3 programme - the Tivo knows it is a 16:9 prog as it shows it correctly on my TV by signalling up the Scart cable.
OK I can show it on the PC, using something like PowerDVD, as 16:9 by unticking Keep Aspect Ratio and resizing the play window until it looks correct.
Is there anyway in which I can set the MPEG file as 16:9 without going through some degrading re-coding process using TMPEnc??
TIA
Neil
