  1. hi to all!

    im a newbie in this ripping thing. its a promising hobby but the first movie i ripped seems to act abnormal.
    ok after i rip a DVD - VCD.. my movie moves faster than normal.. its like you are forwarding the movie.. though its not that fast but still the characters act like a "Charlie Chaplin movie-kindda-thing".

    i use >smart ripper v.2.41 > DVDx 1.8> VCDeasy 1.0.9 and the movie is still on my harddrive ready to burn in Nero.

    anyone knows what seems to be my prob?

  2. If you want fast , reliable, DVD-VCD use eazyvcd from www.eazyvcd.tk Its an all in one program, very simple.

  3. i use dvddecrypter, dvd2avi and tmpgenc to rip and encode and nero to burn, with superb results

  4. I think you all misunderstood the question. His question is why the movie moves faster than it should be. Probably, you ripped and encoded with different frame rate.

    ok. ive created the said VCD following every step of this tutorial and use the above mentioned software. did i miss something? thanks.

  7. I don't use DVDx. I cannot help you with that. I use Smartripper->DVD2AVI->Tmpgenc so that I can have full control in each step.

  8. ...so can you show me any tutorial with your prefered utility softwares? a link also to said softwares will bw of much help cause i dnt have any of them except of course for the smartripper.

    and the programs i use are smart ripper, dvd2avi, and tmpeg as mentioned above by others. and also something to burn them with.
