Problem burning or what?

I have been trying to put some MPEG's on DVD to play on my standalone player and its not working. What I have done is used TMPGEnc to convert my MPEG files and then use Unlead DVD workshop to author. Next I try and burn with NERO and and it works on my pc's DVD-rom drive but not my standalones (Onkyo 601 and Apex 5100). I am using +RW media untill I figure out what is going on. The Apex should play these.

Any help would be appreciated.

you might try My Dvd if you can find it. sure you can find it if you look hard enough, thats what it dose it take mpegs and make them in to dvds. i have used it many of times and i never had a problem with them playing on my stane alone dvd player and it is like 4 years old,
