    My capturing software has a setting called HHR filtering. I can either turn it on or off. However, I cannot find any literature that explains what this is, how it works, or how it affects quality, etc. I have problems authoring the resulting MPEG file using DVDit! and I suspect it could be due to this setting.

    Please help.

    HHR = half horizontal resolution (HHR width 352)
