    Does anybody out there know about this and can tell me about it or where to find it. I just got a playstation2 and want to back up my games. I don not have a mod chip but was wondering if there is anyway to make copies of playstation2 games and play them in my playstion with cd-r disc and without a modchip.

    You can buy a plug'n'go modchip (no soldering required) but it is still a modchip.
