I have my vcr RF output connected to the RF input on my PCTV Rave card. If I record just a TV channel, then the recording is smooth and fine. If I play a video tape and try to capture that, then the recording is very choppy and slow.
Should I be connecting the VCR to the composite video input on my PCTV Rave? If so, how do I do it cos the VCR only hs RF in/out and a SCART connector.
Have tried this with the Pinnacle software supplied with the card (updated via the pinnacle website) AND with Power VCR II. Results are the same in BOTH apps.
