Gents,
I am converting Starship Troopers from AVI (25fps, 640*352) to SVCD PAL 25fps using TMPGEnc. The AVI-file is aroung 700Mb, so in TMPGEnc I convert the AVI-file in two rounds, giving two MPEG-files. This is so I can use maximum bitrate (2520 kb/s). The first MPEG file is perfect, but the second MPEG-file is stuttering alot. The audio is in perfect synch in both MPEG-files, but the second file is severely stuttering.
Can someone please help me getting both files perfect ?
Second question, since the original AVI file is 640*352, what happens when the TMPEnc says 480*576 for PAL SVCD ?
Thanks in advance

1) Make sure you didn't load the wrong template (NTSC or NTSCFilm) when encoding the second half. Or split your AVI using Virtual Dub and just load your second half into TMPGEnc.
2) See above (El Torro)
