    If I've read correctly, these are the settings for my source. How can I tell what the aspect ratio for my source is? My source aspect ratio always seems to be set at 1:1 VGA. Most of my source files are divx. Also even when my source is 23.97 the inverse telecine box is checked. Should I be unchecking this?

    Since your file is a DivX, the "Source aspect ratio" under the Advanced tab should always be set to 1:1 (VGA).
