All the vcd's I have I've erased off my hard drive this was before i learned how to make menu's. I was wondering if it was somehow possible to load the vcds back onto my hard drive so I could add menus without downloading and converting them all over again.
Thanxx.......

Copy the avseq01.dat to your HDD, convert it back to Mpeg1 with VCDGear (find it in Tools section) and burn it to a new CDR/RW as you wish.

I just copied the avseq01.dat from one of my XVCD's MPEGAV folder to my desktop and renamed it start.mpg.
Then I burned start.mpg with Nero with a menu. It worked fine. I did copy the avseq01.dat file from a XVCD that had been burned with Nero originally.
I tried the same thing with Ulead Movie Factory but I had to run start.mpg through mpeg tools, simple multiplex, in tmpgenc for it to work.
Hope it works for you, too.
