  1. I used DVD2SVCD and CCE to encode a small avi. The colors came out all distorted. I tried it with TMPGE and it came out correct. Any idea how I can correct the problem in DVD2SVCD?
    Thanks

  3. I just checked my source again. When I play the file in virtual dub I get the color distortions. It looks ok when I preview it in TMPGE. Guess that means its a virtualdub problem. What settings could be causing this?
    Thanks

jrv331, you might have the Angelpotion codec installed. Also, in TMPGEnc, make sure you check "Simple color correction" under the Advanced tab. See if that helps.

    Hope That Helps!!! :P

  5. All my source files(divx) look ok in TMPGE, but in virtual bub they have a funny color to them. I need to use virtual dub to cut out some trailers before I use dvd2svcd to process the avi. I tried the cut/join option in Tmpge, but it will not recognise the avi. I checked and do not see the Angelpotion codec installed. Can you select a source range in dvd2svcd?
Any other suggestions would be greatly apprecieated, might even lower my blood pressure a bit.

Thanks for all the groups help.
