  1. hi all.
pardon my newbness, but i just got a dvd+r burner that is compatible with my stand alone player. i have numerous svcds that are two, three, and sometimes 4 discs long. my plan is to do a lot of combining and hopefully put 2-4 svcd and/or vcd on one of the dvdr disc and create a menu system that links to the different movies. any ideas on how i should proceed, like what software i would need, etc. like i said, pardon my newbness, but i just got the dvd burner and dont know anything about it. (it came with my new office pc).

    thanks

Tmpeg to demux the SVCD mpg files. You'll need to resample the audio to 48000 using Tmpeg. Rename the audio file .mpa. you should now have an .m2v and an mpa file. Use SpruceUp to author DVD. If the movie spans two or more disks you'll need to join them before demuxing, use DVtool for the mergeing. All software is available in the Tools section on this website.
