I have a 24 min video that is encoded using the DivX codec @ 640x360 (16:9, widescreen, whatever you want to call it) and I want to convert it into a layer-1 mpeg so that I can turn it into a VCD.
My problem is that when I am finished with the conversion the video resolution is @ 352x240 (like it needs to be for a VCD) but the video is scrunched and everything that was a circle in now an oval. How can I fix this or put in the "black bars" that you see in all the old movies?
I am using TMPEG 2.58 freeware to convert the avi.
