I just bought a panasonic dmr-HS2 dvd recorder and have been recording my HI 8 MM tapes to dvd-r 4.7GB disks I realized that when I choose the maximum quality recording speed which is XP the disk records for only 1 hour, and most my tapes are full to the 2hours.
My question is that if I use the recording speed on the panasonic at SP which can record at 2 hours than but is it equal to the quality of the HI 8 MM tapes I have the originals on?
thanks
