I just ordered a Archos Jukebox Multimedia 20 check it out at ( http://electronics.cnet.com/electronics/0-6342420-1304-20349561.html?tag=dir ) For video playback it says that it need to be in simple profile which is single pass... I was wondering how to get the best quality, i don't care how long it takes to encode. Can i trick it into thinking that its a single pass when its done mutiple passes? I've already lowered the quanatizer but i just don't seem to get the quality that i wan't plus the file sizes are HUGE... thanks for you help guys... my restrictions are

MPEG4 simple profile (Max. CIF format - 352x288 pixels, 30 frames/sec., VHS Quality, AVI File format, MP3 stereo sound tracks)... and no i don't know what VHS Quality stands for but i think the max bit rate is 1200...
