some1 PLSSSSS HELP????

ok i know how to do everything bout converting to burning vcd svcd etc..

but gotta prob for sum reason...i reformated my puter a week ago or so.

now when im downloading full length movies i cant get them open to watch em...i got the nimo pack installed and all that. when i try to open the avi in TMPGEnc to convert i get this error "my movie" cannot open or unsuported"

and this error comes with any avi vid i try....windows media player wont even open the avi.

is there any files im misssin since i reformated? it was all fine b4 i reformated my pc.

ok i got avi's playin in divx player 2.0...but i still get the error "my movie" cannot open or unsuported" in TMPGEnc when i try to convert it to make a vcd.

im using TMPGEnc version 2.5 and NO avis will open in it...HELP? lol

ok all i need to know is WHY wont TMPGEnc recognize my avi's???
i just downloaded jackass da movie..error says......
jackass the movie.avi cannot open or unsupported.
i got latest TMPGEnc...do i need more codecs?a patch? sumthin?
i got nimo installed and divx 5.02

you got the vfapi plug in installed to the same folder in tmpgenc?

well theres an vfapi tab in the environment settings

set the priority to 4 in the environmental settings tab, see if that works

crap i aint getin nuttin here..its not workin..should i just redownload tmpgenc? and hope the settings are already set correct?
