    When I use soft encode 5.1 and author with spruceup, my dvds say 5.0 for audio when I play it on windvd or powerdvd. Is 5.0 and 5.1 the same thing or did I miss a setting in the soft encode program? I tried checking and unchecking the box that says LFE (whatever that is) Any sonic foundry experts out there?

    there is only one version i believe ... 1.0

    I am at work right now so I can't check the version but I do beleive that BJ_M is correct, version 1. As far as I know there is only 2 Sonic Foundry soft encoder programs, one for 2.0 and one for 5.1. But mine always turn out as 5.0 for some reason. Nobody knows if there is a difference? Somebody out there please shed some light on this!! This is a great program, I do beleive I just need a little help!!
