Can anyone help me. I am trying to capture a movie from my VCR and every time I try after about 35 minutes I get an error message that reads "AVI OUTPUT: Parameter Incorrect." I followed the newbies guide on the vcdhelp homepage exactly except for the video format because my system will not allow anything more than 352X240. Also I used Picvideo MJPEG instead of Huffy for smaller file size. I will try to capture the screen w/ the error message the next time it happens and post it here. Thanx....

BTW...I was using Virtual Dub like in the guide.

I got a little over an hour this time. Here is the screenshot...

Also, I can't understand why my cpu is getting so abused. It's 700mhz and the only compression I am using is MJPEG. I'm not even going for the full 29.97 fps.

The file that was being written when the error occured is still there and it has an .avi extension, but it is not viewable. Is there any way to fix it so I can check the quality?

One more thing. What do I need to do to be able to capture in a bigger screen size? Just get a better graphics card?
