Not quite sure where this question would go... kinda fits all the boards

Anyway, my massmedia class need to play a show back, looping it all day. The show is captured and edited on a DV-Storm computer. Now whats the best way to loop it? We have a DV-REX set up now, but it would be very helpful to have it back in class. A looping VCR was considered, but how long would it last? 7min show, looping all day(not just all school day, as people will forget to stop it.) Cheaper capture hardware was considered, but the quality we want is not achieved. The DV-Storm has a DVD burner, but it would take hours to convert the show, and then burn it. About the same with VCDs. Price is also a factor, as we have to keep buying CDs.

    Any one have ideas?

DVD, SVCD, and VCD can be set to loop. So can MediaPlayer...

Your options are fairly wide open.

7 minutes of DV can easly be converted to DVD in about an hour including encoding at full tilt. If you are having problems at full bitrate you are doing something wrong.

I've considered a form of video cd, but that will be too expincive. I mean, a CD every school day. Also, digital conversion takes too long. This computer used for making many videos daily, as well as other normal functions... Rendering for an hour just wont cut it.

A DVD Burner(the ones that burn live video real time) have been considered... I think the price could be handled, but I'd like a cheaper option.
