I'm using SpruceUp full version and have read a number of postings that suggest 'exporting' the title sets and burning those files. I'm familiar with export to a hard drive where it creates two folders (VTS, ?), and just burning those two folders to DVD. Plays fine.

What is the difference between title sets and disk image? Do both create those two folders to burn?

Thanks in advance for the information...

  2. yes they both create the folder to burn..the image create an image file with every thing bundled in that one file (folders, vobs, bups, ifo)
the title set creates two folder with the files needed in the folders

i usually create title sets because By default Spruce makes the video file 4x3 Unspecified. Sometimes this is OK. Sometimes the default will work just fine if the video is non-anamorphic. alot DVD's are anamorphic so a lot of times you will have to change it.

it only takes like one minute to change it.

and i also like to do a get vts sectors too

    then i burn with prassiprimodvd

Thanks 'eatin sammiches for lunch' for the reply.

You now peaked my interest about the '4x3 Unspecified' and '...if the video is non-anamorphic. Alot DVD's are anamorphic so a lot of times you will have to change it' stuff.

"it only takes like one minute to change it' and 'get vts sectors too.'

If you have time and patience, would you mind filling me in a little about what 'they' are? I'm just learning about all this and really would like to learn as much as I can. (I'm creating projects for various organizations and then putting them on DVD's.) The more I can learn the better. And you obviously sound like you're in the know...

Also, if there any place a person can get a "How-to" or "User's Manual" or anything for SpruceUp. I love the ability to customize the menus so much.

    Thanks again!
