Unfortunately, my desktop's resources are not sufficient (according to the SOny website) My desktop is only PII 450 Mhz, 256 RAM, 8 HD. It's networked to my laptop which is PIII 600 Mhz, 512 RAM, and 12 GB. I also have a 30 G external HD.
I had initially planned to install the DVDR drive to my desktop. Rip my DVDs from my laptop and store in a folder on my 30 G HD external. Then after all the encoding that I would do on my laptop I would finally do the burning on the desktop.
I guess my question is, is my plan going to work even though my desktop is "under"resourced?
Thanks for any help!
