    I have a JVC XV-S302 dvd player and before i purchase a computer dvd writer
    i want to know if the jvc will play either dvd-r, dvd-r+, dvd rw or dvd rw+
    discs written on the pc. anyone any ideas?

    Yep, it should. Check the dvd player list on the selection bar to the left.

    My JVC with that model # plays -R like a charm. Takes about 45 seconds to load, though.
