    I just wanna know what the best freeware program to convert AVI's to MPEG files is ??
    If you can't get a good freeware AVI to MPEG program then a I would like to know which not free AVI to MPEG program is best ??

    TMPGEnc, free for mpeg1, with a 30 day trial for mpeg2. If you want to use mpeg2 after that there is a £50 registration fee.
