Problem with TMPGEnc! im a new user and done all i can!

i have downloaded everything, all the codec packs im told 2 like:

divx3.11/4 and 5.2, I have got some films from Kazaa, they are a .avi format. i wanna burn them 2 VCD, i have all the stuff but something aint working properly!!!!

when i go to encode a avi film to comes up saying something about a P2Package?

very weird! i did type more than that!! well, the problem is with TMPGEnc, i have ran through all the tips in here and got all of the codecs (what eva they are).

anyway, i have got some avi film files i wanted to convert to VCD and so i followed the AVT 2 VCD guide in here.

All fine, but at the end just as i select the cd type ect and go to encode, this comes up:

cannot open "P2Package.dll

Could i also ask about Codec's please aswell, i have uninstalled all them now as nothing works and im gonna re-install em all now, should i arange the files in any persific way to make a codec active or will it just be ok anywhere?

Also do i realy need to have all these players? im happy with Windows Media 9 for watching, and e-jay for listning to MP3,

but now i got a DVD rom, i would like to copy DVD 2 VCD and also download AVI and Convert to VCD (which im trying to do) but this error came up (see above

Use the forum search button at the top of the page. This problem has been discussed many times before.

there's a lot of fake movie files floating around on p2p networks at the moment, that'll not let you preview before you downlod the whole file. try opening up the movie with virtualdub, it worked for me. of course you should install the nimo lite codec pack first. this pack is self executing.

well i have got it to go through the encoding process!!!! now wot???

i have nero, would i be better using this to burn it? or have u got an 100% way of making the mpg burn to a workin vcd!!!
