    Hello !

I've got two questions about Maestro.

1, I've got mpeg2 elementary streams encoded by Matrox DigiSuite LE MAX, AC3 streams encoded by Sonic Foundry DD Soft Encoder. I create titles and chapters in DVD Maestro v2915a. I compile it with Maestro and burn it with Nero v5.5. I play the DVD-R with Pioneer 444 and can't do program playlist (neither title program nor chapter program). But it's possible with commercial DVD-Video disks. What should I do to be able to do program playlist with my DVD-R?

2, In Maestro I place some mpeg2 elementary streams one after the other in one title. I create chapter points between the assets. I do "Create Sync Audio Track", "Assign Audio File" to each video assets (the audio assets are AC3s). I compile it, and when I play back the DVD, the audio get abnormal, choppy after 17sec in every chapter.

If you know the answers for these questions, please inform me.

    Thank you, D.D.G.

i never had perfect luck with nero buring the dvd's -- other do im sure .. i make an image file in maestro and burn with prassi and it works for better compatability .. but no mater what , when dvd as sent out always get some reports of non working in some peoples dvd players ... even with apple only disks ...

are you sure your encoder and your audio files are at the same frame rate ? after you compress with softencode ... take the ac3 file and convert it back to wav and put it on the editor time line and you may see that soft encode changes audio to 29.97 ndf i seem to recall ..
