  1. I downed some movie clip and couldn't get it to play. I have DivX 5.02 but no joy. One of my Pals mentioned something about XdivX. It is supposed to have the function of 5.02 pro but it's free. Does anyone know anything about it. Where does some one get it?

    Maybe your friend meant Xvid.

  3. what format is the film? i have .avi films i got from Kazaa and they work, I use Windows Media Player 9 (this wont play avi alone, it need an add on)

    If i waz u id post again, saying i "cant play this file type" and say wot it is, I can watch all i want but i have problems copying em to cd! looks like there is so much crap out there, needs an off the shelf, all in one viewer/encoder dont we!

    If you've got a problem identifying a codec try using gspot.
