  1. hi!
I have an MPEG2, SVCD compliant, 780.373 KB big (762MB). and a menu MPEG2 of 1.433KB (1.39MB) and when I put these two in vcdeasy it says that approximate CD size is 773 MB . when I put chapters and XML is created, it makes a BIN/CUE file. which is cca. 880 MB BIG. now, who is crazy here?
oh, yes, one warning which worrys me is:

"autopadding requires to insert additional 197340 zero bytes into MPEG stream (due to 715 unaligned packets of 716 total)"

    and

"generated image (391652 sectors [87:02.02]) may not fit on 74min CDRs (333000 sectors)"

I know that I can put ~800 MB on 80 minute but not 87:02.02
Oh, yes, I tried to burn this with CDRDAO and it burned ~835 MB, the said "burn failed" -> normally

please people help me because I'm desperate!

soft used: VCDimager 0.7.12, cdrdao 1.1.5, VCDeasy 1.1.2

  2. Your MPEG-2 clip hasn't been multiplexed for SVCD. This is what is causing the autopadding.

Remultiplex your MPEG-2 clips with bbMPEG on the SVCD setting and all will be well...
