    i have a widescreen avi file and i want to convert it to mpg, i did this and it was so stretched. is there a way to convert it so it doesnt stretch???

    Convert to vcd mpeg with tmpgenc www.vcdhelp.com/tmpgenc and be sure to select keep aspect ratio. Burn with nero or vcdeasy.
