Poll: Does interlacing your SVCD make it look better on your T.V?

  2. What are you trying to prove?

    If the source is in interlaced ofcource it will look
    better on the TV if you keep it interlaced.


    Deinterlacing with some filter that blends
    two fields you will loose some detail.


    I have a progressive scan HDTV that can do 720p
    but that is another subject.

    The only way you will ever see me use non-interlaced is for Telecined materal.

    Mixed mode always use interlaced TMPGenc even gives you a special interlacing mode so that it will attempt to IVTC, but falls back on interlacing for materal that is not. Best of both worlds.

    tonyp12, I'm not trying to prove anything. Some people on this site say non-interlacing looks better than interlacing on their T.V using SVCD. I just wanted to know other people's opinion.
