    Tried to use dvd copy plus 4.0, it rips ok but when i convert using dvdx and view it it skips like a bad record player,It even skips in the converted mpeg and vcd, Am i doing something wrong?

    Gee i wished i would have thought of that!!

    I purchased it today but with active 2 year old twins, YOU MUST HAVE BACKUPS, I am one of the few who actually do back up what they own.
    believe me 3 hours for a vcd and crappy quality arent worth ripping to steal! but worth ripping to backup

    DVD2SVCD worked fine and quality is good, takes 3 cds though

    ok imsorry, try dvdx copy,it works ok...
    splits to 2 discs though
