I use my WinTVFM to capture into AVI ( MJpeg Codec set at 18 )
( I use iuVCR to capture with the driver from the same site )
I use VDub with couple of filters to FrameServe the video into TMPGenc, the problem I am having is that for some reason I loose the crispness of the video after conversion.
Anyone have any idea what I can do to help it?
Thanx

Usually a low bitrate will result in blurriness (or unsharpness) when encoding. Try using a sharpen filter in TMPGEnc, but it will require more bitrate using the sharpening filter and may result in more macroblocking.
Hope That Helps!!!8)

It could be anything from the source, to the filters your using, to the encode options in TMPGenc. Try to be more specific as to what filters, and options your using.
