Hi,
on some PCs (not my usual one) with W2K or WXP the MPG files produced by TMPEG are at least 15 % to big. All settings are Standard so 80 min VCD should result in 800 MB video, but itīs 930 MB. Whatīs the problem ? On some maschines this happens, on some not (and i think i installed the same codecs on all). By the way: divx-movies with xmpeg have the same problem...

depends on how you encoded your mpg....2 pass VBR will give a more predicatable filesize, while CQ VBR will not

I always work with CBR, thatīs the strange thing about it.
And a conversion on another PC with absolutely the same
parameters works fine...
