    I saw this kind of question here, but not the definitive answer... With my DC10+ under WinXP i'm just able do capture with Pinnacle Studio. The other capture softwares, like VirtualDub, doesn't find the driver.

    Another nice option is Capture.exe which is part of a free trial download for EditStudio from PureMotion http://www.puremotion.com/downloads/index.htm Its freely redistributable and uses one interface for analog or DV capture. And the price is right!
