I would like to convert some avi files to vcd but the frame rate for the files is 14.985. How can i convert these files so that TMPGEnc will recognise them as pal or ntsc??

Start TmpGenc, cancel the wizard.
Then in THIS order:
Select your video and audio files.
Click load, and select the template that matches your requirements.
If you need to change any settings and they are greyed out,
Click load and select unlock.mcf from the extras folder.
Click start.
from 14.xxx fps I would suggest NTSC at 29.97fps is the closes simple multiple to get the best (smoothest) playback.
