I am having some problems with the audio 3.11 alpha codec and virtual dub.
I wanted to compress a video file with virtual dub (I have done this before but a long time ago), so i tryed to remember the steps I took the first time. I got the video compression to work fine but when it came to the audio i had some problems.
I remember that i used the MPEG Layer-3 compression 128 kBit's 44,100Hz Stereo at 16KB/s the first time (i even opened one of the first videos i compressed to make sure) but i couldn't find that same setting in virtual dub, and i even clicked on the show all formats tab.
So i went to the guide i used the first time and it said the same thing, and it also said that i should have the divx 3.11 alpha codec installed for it to work (which i have). so i uninstalled the codec and reinstalled the codec just to make sure but nothing happen. i still couldn't find the audio compression i was looking for.
So does anyone know what is worng!!!!
Please help
Thx Alman

Downloading and installing the Nimo "Lite" Codec Pack should solve your MP3 problem.
