I just bought DV-Wizard from Hauppauge. It includes Ulead VideoStudio 5.0 SE.
When I tried to capture video to my computer using my Sony Digital8 DCR-TRV310 NTSC with Hi8 tapes. Everything seems to work ok upto now..
until attempting to make VCD (using Nero 5.5) so I can play it on my AWA DVD Player (Multi-region/zone). The VCD fails to work on my DVD player, when the disc is attempting to load, I could hear the clicking/ticking/skipping sound coming from the DVD player, after couple of minutes, the message display that "no disc is found" or loaded but yet the disc is still in the player.
Note: i'm able to play this VCD on my computer using PowerDVD.
Please advice what I should do.
Thanks alot.
Albert

Don't author your VCD's with Nero! It seems that many stand alone players have problems with Nero manufactured VCD's, at least if menues are used. Try VCDEasy instead.

It's probably not Nero's fault. He/She probably didn't use the correct template, or they didn't use a template at all, attempting to make a data CD as a Video CD. Make sure you use the latest version of Nero, and select the correct template and type for your player (NTSC/PAL, and Video CD). Nero will warn you if your MPEG is non-standard this way.
Impossible to see the future is. The Dark Side clouds everything...
