Just wondering what's best to cut out commercials before burning SVCD.
    Thanks

What I do is use source range in TMPGEnc to cut out Comercials.
May the force be with you.

  3. The newest version of TMPGEnc offers "cut editting". It works EXTREMELY well. I simply apply edits during the encode phase unless I want any fancy pants effect like cross-fading or whatever. In those cases, I use Adobe Premiere.

i also use source range in tmpgenc but if you dont need to convert to mpg just use the mpeg tools in tmpgenc to cut and merge.

    scottb721,

    Ulead's VideoStudio 6.0 works like a dream!

You simply mark in at the beginning of the commercial then mark out at the end of the commercial then drag them to the trash can and you're finished.
Evil flourishes when good men do nothing.

  6. Well, if it's captured from TV with virtualdub, then you can use virtualdub too. Go to the beginning of commercial, set start, go to end of it, select end, and press delete. Voila, it's gone. There are many ways to do this...
