  1. when i go to drop a .mpg file in the toast window some times it wount let me and gives me a message "your_movie.mpg can not be used to create a video cd. Please use the Video CD option in your MPEG encoder/multiplexer."

    any one know what that means and/or how to make those files so they can be used to put on a VCD?

    It's telling you that your mpeg is not a Toast encoded VCD and that if you are wanting to burn as a VCD in toast that you will need to export it as a Toast Ready Video CD.
