  1. I decided to get WinOnCD 3.8 power edition because it looked like it had alot of cool VCD Menu Creations features, but following the tutorial linked from VCDHelp (the only tutorial i found on the net about Menu/WinOnCD too) says how there is a V or something that will start the Menu Editor. Well I've transfered all my mpegs, sent my BMP to the file (ISO 9660) part of the cd, since it only accepts mpeg for the vcd section, and I have looked all around and don't see anywhere that would start up menu creation. If someone has done this before or knows how please help. Thanks.

    P.S. - Vcd roxs, lots of good info in one place, can't beat that

    I use an Mpeg for the menu clip

    Then simply add your menu choices off of it

    In the bottoms of each clip you'll have 3 V's

    At the top is the input V

    Simply route your clips like a Flowchart
    menu->clip 1->menu
    menu->clip 2->menu
    etc
    Then the last step I usually loop all the clips to play coninuously then route back to the menu

  3. Okay i'll convert my bmp into an mpeg, but how do you get to the screen where you can select how to group them. On my screen i don't see previews of my clips, i just see the filename themsevles.

  4. i ain't at my pc right now, but, i've got winoncd 3.8 power edition on my pc and i had the same problem, until i figured out that i was in the wrong part of the program. step by step : start winoncd, goto video cd creation or whatever it's called, i'm guessing that you go to video cd 2.0 now? i think you really want video cd extended or something like that i can't remember the exact name. it's that option you want, it works and looks exactly like the tutorial then. hope i helped.

    The tutorial you are talking about is mine. I suggest you try reinstalling WINONCD. One thing though, are you absolutely certain you have the Power Edition?

    If you have the PE, the you should be looking for the option to create VIDEO CD EXTENDED EDITOR.

  7. Heh weird, I have the right version and it is PE, but it only has options for (S)VCD and Photo Album, guess the extended templates got lost along the way . Thank you for all your help guys, I've just decided to use EZCD Creator, not as good, but hey, what can you do =)
