Please forgive me if my question is stupid as this is my 1st post here. I try to search the forum and could not find the answer.
I just finished the first step to capture avi file from DV. It is about 3.2G for 15min video. At the end of capturing it told me that there is lost frames. I think it is because blank section on the tape. Then I use windows media player to play the avi file, when I use 100% frame setting, it is only about 360x240, apparently not 720x480. If I use 200% frame setting, picture will be large and soft. It is not even as good as on LCD screen of camcorder. Color is not good too. Anything wrong with my capturing?
I am using Sound Blaster Audigy to capture, PC is AMD TB 1.4G, 256 SDRAM, 80G 7200rpm HD (60G free). Software is Premiere 6.5.
Thanks

...it's just a setting in media player. Load the AVI in mediaplayer, get into Properties, and snoop around till you find a setting for video res.
