you can't. some dvd players still pause for a few seconds even though you put 0 seconds. luckily my dvd player doesn't really pause for more then 1/4 of a second between tracks.

  4. Are you sure that other disc was multitracked? Perhaps it used "entrypoint" chapters: http://www.vcdimager.org/guides

You will invariable get at least some sort of pause between tracks on a multitracked VCD.

    Hi,

I am also from Brasil, Rio.
Yes, if there is more than one video clip there will be some small interruption.
Probably the other VCD is a one video file, authored with chapters.
If you want to make chapters etc... try DVD Workshop, from Ulead.

Is this the same for a DVD authored with DVD workshop, or will the transition be smoother. The reason I ask is because you can set to capture by scene from DV to seperate files, but if there is going to be a pause between tracks then I won't use this option.

I have little/no experience with DVD authoring, but since DVDs don't have multiple tracks per se, and from analysing how commercial DVDs appeared to be structured, you should be able to get seamless playback... Don't know about specific proggies though. Perhaps someone else can answer?
