    easydvd,
can't help you w/ your Upside down issue, that's a codec version issue
    there (but, see below anyways)

    Audio,
you'll have to go back into Spkr (dbl-click) and make sure [x] is checked
for Line-In. This is usually a one-time thing, unless you have other software
that changes this from time to time.

Un-install, and Re-install process order usually:
    ------------------------------------------------------
1, codecs - get those codecs out, else driver may be influenced
    2, display drivers
    3, directX
    4, capture drivers
5, directX (cap drvr app does this)
6, codecs - ie, divX, pic, huffy, other ie, ATIYUV12, etc., etc.
7, fix any left over codec issues by testing w/ vdub ie, load in an avi
... file/information, see what's in their. Anything not displaying, that
... used to be, is a codec issue

Manually re-installing a codec can be a pain in the butt. I had to re-install
my ATIYUV12.DLL codec cause vdub would not open files that were
captured w/ this codec. I like this codec a lot. It's the cleanest and
sharpest (imo) so, it was worth the headackes of manual install.

Hoping that the above works out.

  3. ok. I got my sound back when I re-installed the ATI MMC stuff. I also un-installed the card, sourceforge drivers and then re-installed all of it.

the drivers are a newer version than I had before(sourceforge) anyone got the last ones from oct?

ALL of the caps seen to be upside down.......no matter which codec I use which leads me to believe a driver issue. Gonna un and re install them anyway. I'll get back to you

Can I put just that ATI codec in without all the rest of the stuff?

  4. LOL. I had that problem once playing DivX movies. That was fun :P Fixed my part by overwriting the codecs too. Good luck
