  1. Hello,
I got a DC30 Plus card 2 days ago, and I'm trying to use it on a win2k OS - CAPTURING with Prem6.
I know that the DC50 has this feature and the DC30 has not it, but sometime ago I read an article that there is a "modification" or patch - that can solve this problem.
I'm using Prem6 under Win2000, I have the copies of 5.1 as well - and installed (separately of course)
both of them - as written in the included leaflet - and to be sure I used each time Win2k Ghost... just not to leave
    traces of the prev. installation.
With the DC30's capture proggie I got a little jerkie movie
    - lot of noise. (Using Asus V7700 Deluxe as display card)
Prem6 didn't make me hard time at all - just I'm almost sure I read about CAPTURING with the Premiere and DC30.
This is possible beeing done with the DC50 - beside other features of DC50.
    I'm using a P4, 1.4G, 256M RDram, 2x45G IBM drives (7200 rpm)defragmented, and tried on fat32 and NTFS...BUT.....
the problems are - as told - not integration with prem - no matter the Ver - and a relative noisy result.
I haven't expected a DV output - but the result is somethig like a very much used VCR cassette..
Any help or opinion will be much appreciated

    TIA

  2. You need the DC50 .prm files... I know someone posted how to do this on Pinnacle's forum (www.pinnaclesys.com, look for support, then in the forum section for DC30).
If you searcht he forum or post, you should find it.
    Best of luck.
