I just picked up an RV-32, and for the most part i'm happy with it... I've spent enuff hours looking through the tips and forums but I think i'm stuck. Video captured using Ulead VidStudio 5 as a *.avi file is then converted with Tmpgenc to *.mpg(mpeg-2). Then I read to do the header trick with Tmpgenc (mpeg-1) thing and then burn with Nero as "non compliant VCD". Supposedly this works and you have SVCD quality.

My problem is the SVCD plays but when the scene is stationary, it looks ok but when there is movement like the panning across a scene, it get's "jeky" and almost like it's out of sync, possibly a "interlaced" problem. The audio is perfect, sounds great, much better than VCD format.

Well that's it, I hope I supplied you guys with enuf info... Anybody with a Pana Rv-32 would be great to hear from you..

Btw I'm in Canada, I read somewhere that Euro models could be slightly different...
