    i've read alot of posts about the 1100w, and what to check for to make sure you get a player that will play vcd.. however waht about the new 1110w? does it play vcd?

    If it was manufactured after April 2002, no. Apex removed VCD compatibility from their DVD players at that time, because they decided there was little interest in it.
