    I was trying to play some vcds and svcd with my friends computer, she just has a cd-rom. I installed PowerDVD on here computer, the video plays fine but no sound. The dat files in Windows Media have sound and picture. This is driving me nuts. She has the correct audio codec. What's the deal ? Is Elecard MPEG-2 Player really free. What are the limitaitons for the demo ?

    I do not have any answers for your sound problem, but Elecard is free. It just plays my videos upside down

    I have the same problem!!
    I asked for help in this forum a couple of months ago and did not get a reply, hope you get some help!
    At least now I know I am not being singled out my Power DVD!
